Role Summary

The Regional Director will be responsible for driving the growth, operational excellence, and financial performance of the assigned region. The role requires strong expertise in admissions, academic operations, P&L management, and large team leadership. The incumbent will act as a strategic leader, ensuring smooth execution of business plans, student experience, and in line with the organizations goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions & Enrolment Management

- Drive student acquisition, admissions, and enrolment targets for UG, PG, and professional programs.

- Develop and implement region-specific outreach and engagement strategies.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance lead generation and conversion rates.

2. Academic & Operational Excellence

- Oversee academic delivery and ensure adherence to quality standards.

- Work closely with faculty, academic teams, and operations staff to enhance student learning outcomes.

- Ensure smooth execution of academic calendars, examinations, and program delivery.

3. P&L & Business Performance

- Own the P&L of the region; ensure revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimization.

- Monitor financial performance, track budgets, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

- Identify new opportunities for expansion and growth in the region.

4. Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a large cross-functional team across admissions, academics, operations, and support functions.

- Build leadership capability within the region and ensure succession planning.

- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with organizational values.

5. Stakeholder & Partnership Management

- Build and strengthen relationships with schools, colleges, corporates, and other educational institutions.

- Liaise with internal stakeholders (marketing, product, technology, HR) for seamless operations.

- Represent the organization at regional events, forums, and conferences.

Key Requirements

Education: MBA / Masters degree in Business, Education Management, or related field.

Experience:

- Experience in the education / ed-tech / training industry.

- Proven track record in admissions, academic operations, and regional business leadership.

- Strong experience in P&L management with measurable results.

- Expertise in handling large, multi-location teams.

Skills:

- Strategic thinking and business acumen.

- Strong people management and leadership skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

- Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical skills.
