Sunshield Chemicals - Manager - Finance & Accounts

Job Location: Chembur (Mumbai)

Key Result Areas (KRA):

1. Accounts Payable & Financial Controls (SCL & Indus):

- Transaction Integrity: Execute end-to-end verification and approval of all Accounts Payable (AP) invoices and credit notes within SAP Business One and on invoices.

- Process Oversight: Act as the final gatekeeper for expense booking for Sunshield Chemicals and Indus Petrochem to prevent leakages or duplicate payments.

2. Financial Reporting & MIS (Indus):

- Monthly Closing: Lead the monthly book closure process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Management Reporting: Prepare and present monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.

- Treasury & Inter-company Management: Monitor and track Fixed Deposits (FDs) to optimize interest yields.

1. Manage inter-company debt workings and reconciliations to ensure group-level balance sheet integrity.

3. Statutory Audit & Financial Reporting (Indus, Ashni, Percy, Copper, HB, IORA, AVF):

- Audit Management: Act as the primary lead for Statutory Audits, ensuring zero material observations and timely completion.

- Financial Statements: Responsible for the preparation of Annual Financial Statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.

4. Direct & Indirect Taxation (Indus, Ashni, Percy, Copper, HB, IORA, AVF):

- Income Tax & Transfer Pricing: Manage quarterly Advance Tax computations and payments.

1. Oversee the preparation of data for Income Tax Returns (ITR) and Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation.

2. Handle tax assessments by preparing comprehensive responses and documentation for Income Tax and TP notices.

Compliance Oversight (Ashni, Percy Copper, HB, Iora, AVF):

1. GST: Perform final verification and approval of monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filings.

2. TDS: Ensure accurate monthly TDS workings and timely deposit of dues.

5. Leadership & Team Mentorship:

- Operational Excellence: Provide daily technical guidance and support to team members across group companies to resolve bottlenecks.

- Capacity Building: Mentor colleagues in accounting best practices and SAP workflows to improve overall department efficiency.
