Data Scientist

Role & responsibilities:

- Collect and analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data

- Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business decisions Selecting/engineering features, building and optimizing Statistical / ML models

- Support moving models to production, by creating quality code modules that can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems

- Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure

- Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into business processes

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Data Science and Analytics

- Work on diverse data analytics-related projects to address varied business requirements and challenges

Skills Required:

- Strong mathematical and coding aptitude.

- Hands on exposure to common data science toolkits including comfort in Python or R

- Good understanding of data querying using SQL

- Exposure to data visualization tools and techniques.

- Good applied statistical skills and fundamental understanding of classification / regression models

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data-related services.

- Ability to communicate advanced analytic outputs clearly, adapting according to the audience

Preferred candidate profile:

- Graduate degree in Data Science/ Computer Science /Mathematics/ Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate from a reputed institute.

- Post-Graduate degree in Data Science with minimum 60% aggregate preferred.

- Certifications in ML/AI/Big Data/Cloud Analytics will be an added advantage
