Product Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a Product Manager who can take ownership of the product from user insight to execution. This is an early-stage role with significant autonomy. You will work closely with the leadership, users, and engineering team to determine what we should build, why we should build it, and what creates the most value for users and the business.

This is not a project-management role. We need someone who is deeply curious about users, comfortable with ambiguity, data-informed, and willing to get hands-on.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the product roadmap, priorities, and product strategy

- Talk regularly with users to understand their needs, pain points, and behaviors

- Translate user and business needs into clear product requirements and priorities

- Work closely with the technology team to take products from idea to launch and iteration

- Define and track key product metrics including activation, engagement, retention, and usage

- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding, user experience, and platform engagement

- Run product experiments and validate assumptions quickly

- Analyze user behavior and feedback to determine what to improve, build, or stop

- Work with Growth/Partnerships to understand market demand and identify opportunities for product-led growth

- Contribute to general strategy, pricing, and packaging

- Continuously simplify the product and eliminate unnecessary complexity

- Establish a strong feedback loop between users, business development, and engineering

What Success Looks Like:

After 12 months, you should be able to say:

- Users clearly understand the value of the platform

- Activation and retention are improving consistently

- We have a focused, evidence-based product roadmap

- Product development is driven by validated user and business needs

- The platform has strong foundations for scaling revenue

Who We're Looking For:

- 2 - 5+ years of product management or equivalent product-building experience

- Strong user empathy and customer-discovery skills

- Comfortable working in an early-stage, ambiguous environment

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

- Excellent communication and prioritization skills

- Able to work closely with engineers without needing to be technical themselves

- Strong bias toward action and experimentation

- Entrepreneurial mindset - willing to do whatever is needed to move the product forward

Bonus:

- Experience building a marketplace, community, network, SaaS, or platform product

- Experience with early-stage startups

- Experience with product-led growth

- Experience taking a product from early traction to meaningful revenue

Work Location and Compensation:

- Base: Bangalore or Mumbai

- Compensation: INR 30 Lakhs including Bonus

The Ideal Person:

You are someone who can sit with a customer in the morning, turn what you learned into a product hypothesis in the afternoon, and work with engineering to ship and test it quickly.
