Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation - Assistant Vice President - Treasury Sales & Execution

Section 1: Purpose of the position:

1. Marketing FX & derivative products to corporate clients based in North India. The person will be based out of NCR dealing room.

2. Develop strong relationships with customers.

3. Partnership with Business RMs to onboard new clients and grow Treasury Sales business.

4. The person should have good understanding of structuring & executing FX and interest rate Rates derivatives.

Section 2: Job Responsibilities:

1. Understand client requirements and market suitable FX and derivative solutions to Corporate clients based in North India.

2. Work closely with Business RMs to onboard new clients.

3. Originate & execute FX & derivative transactions with customers. Work closely with Trading team to ensure smooth execution.

4. The role requires good understanding of structuring & executing FX and Rates derivatives.

5. Ensure compliance with external (RBI, FEDAI, etc.) as well as internal (SMBC HO) guidelines at all times.

Section 3: Skills & Qualification:

(a) Knowledge:

- Good understanding of structuring & execution of Treasury products.

(b) Skills:

- Pricing and sales of FX & derivative products.

- Expertise in execution of FX & derivative products.

(c) Experience:

- 4-8 years' experience of marketing Treasury products to clients.

(d) Qualifications:

- MBA or Chartered Accountant.

Section 4: Certification:

The incumbent should have any one of the below certifications:

1. Certified Treasury Dealer

2. Diploma in Integrated Treasury Management

3. Certificate in Quantitative Finance (Fitch)

4. CFA / FRM
