We are seeking an ambitious and target-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations
The role involves managing a sales team, developing strategies to achieve revenue targets, and building strong relationships with clients to expand market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales executives to maximize performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adapt sales approaches.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
- Conduct training and development sessions for the sales team.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and ethical practices.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
Experience:
- 4 - 8 years of proven experience in sales, with at least 2 - 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
