Sudarsshan - Export Marketing Manager

The Export Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving international sales and market expansion for Sudarsshan Pollyblends' portfolio of high-performance Polymer Compounds and Masterbatches (Color, Black, White, Additive, and Special Effect). This role requires a strong blend of technical product knowledge, strategic market development, sales leadership, and expertise in international trade logistics and compliance. The primary goal is to establish and grow the company's brand and revenue across key global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Market Development & Penetration:

- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify high-potential target countries and regions (e.g., Africa, the Middle East, South-East Asia, Europe).

- Develop and execute a comprehensive Export Marketing Strategy and annual business plan to achieve aggressive sales and margin targets in designated international markets.

- Identify, evaluate, and establish effective distribution channels, agents, and strategic -partners in new territories.

- Monitor global market trends, raw material pricing, and evolving customer needs to influence product development and pricing strategies.

2. Sales Management & Key Account Development

- Lead the entire export sales cycle, from lead generation and initial inquiry to contract negotiation and order closing.

- Manage and nurture relationships with major international clients (Converters, Molders, Tier 1 Suppliers) to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

- Prepare and present detailed technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with customer specifications for polymer compounds (e.g., Glass Filled PP, FR Compounds, PC/ABS blends) and masterbatches.

- Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.

3. Product & Technical Coordination

- Act as the crucial link between international customers and the in-house R&D/Technical team for custom color matching and compound formulation requirements.

- Ensure that all export products comply with the technical and quality standards of the target market, including regulatory requirements (e.g., RoHS, REACH) and quality certifications (ISO, IATF 16949).

- Coordinate technical support and services for overseas partners and customers, troubleshooting product-related issues promptly.

4. Export Operations & Compliance

- Oversee and ensure strict adherence to all export-import procedures, documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin), foreign exchange regulations, and Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DAP).

- Coordinate effectively with Logistics, Production, and Finance teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, timely shipment, and efficient payment processing (including Letters of Credit, LC).

- Manage the export marketing budget, monitoring expenses and optimizing the return on investment (ROI) for international promotional activities.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, International Business, or Polymer/Plastics/Chemical Engineering. An MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Export Management is highly preferred.

- Experience: Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in Export Marketing/Sales, with at least 4 years in the Plastics, Polymer, Masterbatch, or Chemical industry.

- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of polymer science, plastic processing (Injection Molding, Extrusion, etc.), and the application of compounds/masterbatches in final products (e.g., Automotive, Home Appliances, Packaging).
