
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Murex Back Office Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Business Analyst to join our Operations and Finance team. This role is primarily responsible for supporting liquidity and front-office programs, ensuring the delivery of regulatory and strategic requirements for the bank. As a business-facing position, the role requires close collaboration with Operations and Finance stakeholders to optimize processes, system functionalities, and data flows within the Murex Back Office (BO) module.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Murex BO module, supporting operations and finance initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Operations and Finance teams.
- Support the design, development, and implementation of regulatory and strategic programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with technology, DevOps, and engineering teams to enhance system processes and workflows.
- Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and ensure data integrity within Murex.
- Participate in process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Provide training and support to business users on Murex BO functionalities and enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements in all operational processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in Murex Back Office (BO) module.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Operations SME in banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of Operations & Finance processes, including liquidity and FO programs.
- Proficiency in data analysis, systems, and process documentation.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and working with cross-functional technology teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
