Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager - SaaS will be responsible for driving end-to-end sales of our lending technology products (LMS & LOS). The role focuses on developing a strong pipeline, delivering high-impact product demos, managing full sales cycles, and closing commercial agreements with NBFCs, fintech lenders, banks, and enterprise clients.
This position requires a high-energy SaaS sales professional who can engage CXO-level stakeholders, understand lending workflows, and drive consistent revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
1. Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified NBFC/FinTech prospects.
2. Run complete SaaS sales cycles: prospecting - demo - solutioning - proposal - closure.
3. Deliver compelling product demos and communicate clear value propositions.
4. Negotiate commercials and finalize term sheets/agreements.
5. Collaborate with product, tech, and implementation teams for smooth handover and go-live.
6. Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers across accounts.
7. Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and provide product feedback.
8. Strengthen brand visibility through outreach, events, and industry interactions.
Skills Required:
Education:
Minimum Requirement:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related fields
Preferred:
1. MBA in Marketing/Finance
2. Certifications in SaaS sales, enterprise sales, or product management
Experience - Required:
1. 3-6 years in SaaS sales or enterprise business development
2. Proven experience managing full sales cycles
3. Experience selling to NBFCs, banks, fintechs, or BFSI enterprises
4. Hands-on experience with CRM tools
5. Demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets and build healthy pipelines
Experience - Good to Have:
1. Experience with lending technology platforms (LOS, LMS, SCF)
2. Exposure to onboarding, underwriting, disbursement, reconciliation, or reporting workflows
3. Selling API/integration-heavy solutions
4. Prior work in early-stage or high-growth startups
5. Strong network within NBFC/FinTech/BFSI ecosystems
