Stride Ventures - Associate - Private Credit

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail- oriented professional to join our team as an Associate - Private Credit. This individual will play a critical support role in our investment lifecycle. The Associate will assist with deal sourcing, underwriting, execution and portfolio monitoring while gaining exposure to fund strategy and stakeholder interactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Execution & Analysis

- Support the evaluation of investment opportunities with a cheque size of ~- 100 Crores.

- Assist in financial modeling, industry research, and credit analysis for deal assessment.

- Contribute to the preparation of investment notes, memos, and internal presentations.

- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for transaction execution and documentation.

2. Portfolio Management

- Monitor financial and operational performance of portfolio companies.

- Track compliance with covenants and investment conditions.

- Assist in preparing regular portfolio reviews and investor reports.

3. Deal Structuring & Underwriting Support

- Work closely with senior team members on transaction structuring and credit underwriting.

- Participate in due diligence processes, liaising with advisors and company stakeholders as needed.

- Support in creating financial models that capture key deal drivers and risk mitigants.

4. Team Collaboration

- Work closely with a team of investment professionals and support efficient workflow across deals.

- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, precision, and high performance.

- Take initiative in managing assigned tasks and learning across multiple deal stages.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

- Support documentation and compliance requirements aligned with SEBI regulations and internal fund processes.

- Assist in investor communication through data preparation and participation in periodic reviews and calls.

- Maintain internal databases and ensure timely sharing of deal- related information with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: 3- 5 years in private credit, corporate lending, investment banking, or structured finance.

Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication.

Tools: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic legal/financial documentation handling.
