About the Role:
We are looking for a Product & Engineering Manager to own the product strategy, roadmap, and engineering delivery of our lending platforms. The role will cover the end-to-end lending lifecycle, from origination and credit assessment to disbursement, servicing, repayment, and closure.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong product thinking and technical expertise, including product design, architecture, technical decisions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and team management. Experience in fintech, NBFC, banking, or lending technology is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own product vision, roadmap, requirements, and delivery for lending platforms.
- Translate business needs into scalable products, workflows, and user experiences.
- Lead engineering across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Drive integrations with LOS/LMS, finance, payments, KYC, credit bureaus, banks, and other systems.
- Ensure strong controls, audit trails, reconciliations, security, scalability, and reliability.
- Work closely with Credit, Operations, Finance, Risk, Collections, and Business teams.
- Stay hands-on with architecture, code reviews, debugging, performance, and critical issue resolution.
- Mentor the engineering team and ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
- Own UAT, go-live, production stability, and continuous product improvement.
Candidate Profile:
- 5-8 years of experience across software engineering, product, and engineering leadership.
- Prior experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Lead, or similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, security, and deployment.
- Experience with lending platforms, LOS/LMS, digital lending, or Supply Chain Finance preferred.
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex lending processes.
- Experience leading engineering teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving, communication, and execution skills.
- Bachelors degree/PG in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
