
Position Summary:
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining, delivering, and continuously improving product capabilities. This role serves as the strategic and executional leader for one or more product areas; translating business objectives and customer needs into a prioritized product backlog and delivering value through iterative, incremental releases. The Senior Product Manager partners closely with Engineering, QA, PMO and key business stakeholders to ensure outcomes align with company strategy and customer impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and market needs.
- Define product success metrics and ensure outcomes are measured and continuously improved.
- Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
- Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and technical considerations.
- Write clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Lead backlog grooming/refinement sessions to ensure stories are ready for sprint planning.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, and DevOps throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support release planning and coordination across multiple teams when applicable.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and impediments impacting delivery.
- Mentor and coach Product Managers and Product Owners on Agile techniques, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications?
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
- 12+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a technical product role.
- Experience working on SaaS platforms with complex workflows.
Strong understanding of:
- Angular (modern versions, component architecture)
- Front-end frameworks and SPA architecture
- REST APIs and backend integrations
- CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated experience leading platform modernization or re-architecture initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong ability to write detailed, technically sound product requirements.
- Strong hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Proven experience executing product roadmaps and managing product lifecycles from concept to launch
- Ability to write clear, structured product requirements and collaborate effectively across technical and clinical teams.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with a passion for improving care delivery through technology.
Preferred:
- Prior background as a software engineer, solutions engineer or similarly technical role
- Experience leading customer user/focus groups
- Experience working in SaaS, healthcare IT, or regulated industries.
