PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The incumbent will work closely with senior leadership on high-impact strategic initiatives across businesses, with a focus on driving growth, transformation, and business performance. The incumbent will play a key role in driving strategic priorities, tracking execution of key initiatives, and supporting leadership on matters relating to business performance, portfolio strategy, operational transformation, and long-term value creation.
KEY STAKEHOLDERS: INTERNAL
Group President, CXOs, various partner functions such as Finance, IR, Legal, M&A
QUALIFICATIONS: BE / B.Tech. / B.Com. in any stream, from Top colleges / universities, and MBA from top B-Schools or CA
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 8 years of work experience in Strategy, M&A, Investments in Bank or NBFC.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- MBA from a premier institute / CA with strong academic credentials preferred.
- Relevant experience in Strategy, Chairman's/Founder's Office, Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transformation roles.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand complex business models and strategic issues across sectors.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and structured thinking capabilities.
- Strong financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills are essential.
- Proven ability to independently manage workstreams and interact with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High degree of ownership, maturity, confidentiality, and execution orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility, and collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with senior leadership in shaping and driving businessstrategy across various business verticals (Wholesale, Retail).
- Lead strategic initiatives and special projects spanning growth strategy, transformation, operational improvement, business incubation, M&A, and organization-wide priorities.
- Structure broad and ambiguous business problems into actionable workstreams through hypothesis-driven analysis, research, and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct detailed market research, competitive benchmarking, industry analysis, and emerging trend assessment to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Develop robust financial models, business cases, scenario analyses, and investment evaluations for strategic initiatives and transactions.
- Work closely with business CXOs and cross-functional teams to drive key projects and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Support leadership reviews through creation of high-quality presentations, dashboards, management updates, and executive communication material.
- Drive program management for strategic initiatives including planning, governance, milestone tracking, budgeting, issue resolution, and ROI measurement.
- Monitor business and operational performance metrics and identify risks, opportunities, and areas requiring management intervention.
- Identify key business risks and execution challenges and proactively drive mitigation and resolution plans
