Strategy Head - Energy & Infrastrucure

1. Key Responsibilities:

A. Strategic Planning & Growth:

- Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the Energy & Infrastructure sectors in line with group priorities.

- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and diversification options across conventional and renewable energy, roads, and other infrastructure verticals.

- Lead business case development, financial modeling, and feasibility analysis for potential investments, divestments, and JV opportunities.

- Partner with business CEOs and functional heads to define growth targets, monitor performance against plans, and recalibrate as needed.

B. Portfolio & M&A:

- Evaluate and execute M&A, JV, and strategic alliance opportunities to strengthen portfolio value.

- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market intelligence across energy and infrastructure segments.

- Support due diligence, valuation analysis, and deal execution in collaboration with Finance and Legal teams.

- Drive portfolio optimization through asset monetization, consolidation, or restructuring initiatives.

C. Transformation & Operational Excellence:

- Collaborate with business units on turnaround and transformation projects, driving profitability and efficiency.

- Facilitate digital, ESG, and sustainability initiatives aligned with the Groups long-term agenda.

- Partner with CXOs to implement organization-wide performance improvement programs and KPI tracking.

D. Risk & Governance:

- Identify key business risks and opportunities; develop mitigation plans in coordination with the Risk team.

- Ensure strategic initiatives comply with regulatory and environmental frameworks.

- Support board reviews and presentations with insights on business performance and market outlook.

E. Stakeholder Management:

- Act as a strategic advisor to the Group Chairman and Business CEOs.

- Liaise with external stakeholders investors, advisors, consultants, and government bodies on sector-related initiatives.

- Represent the Group in industry forums and policy discussions on energy transition and infrastructure development.
