Role Overview:
The Strategy Head will act as a key advisor and execution partner to the MD and COO, driving companies strategic agenda and enabling the organization to achieve its 5-year vision and growth ambition. This role requires exceptional problem-solving ability, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate high-level strategic intent into actionable and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Translate MD's vision into executable strategies with defined milestones.
- Prioritize short-term, medium-term, and long-term objectives, balancing immediate needs with future growth.
- Monitor execution rigorously, ensuring projects remain on course and aligned with organizational goals.
2. Project Management & Delivery:
- Lead end-to-end management of critical strategic projects across multiple business functions.
- Define project charters, scope, deliverables, timelines, and governance frameworks.
- Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely delivery.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with functional heads to ensure alignment of departmental efforts with strategic initiatives.
- Break silos and foster collaboration across teams to accelerate execution.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and drive accountability through structured review mechanisms.
4. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Develop analytics, dashboards, and trackers to monitor organizational performance.
- Prepare progress reports with key flags for the MD and board reviews.
- Ensure project outcomes are measurable, outcome-driven, and linked to business growth.
5. Change Management & Communication:
- Drive the adoption of new systems, processes, and policies across the organization.
- Ensure transparent communication and strong stakeholder buy-in for all strategic initiatives.
- Champion a culture of agility, results orientation, and collaboration.
6. Thought Leadership & Advisory:
- Anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.
- Provide insights, problem-solving frameworks, and decision-support tools for the leadership team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to MD/COO, ensuring Company remains strategically positioned for growth.
