
Role Overview:
As a Strategy Development professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization. Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting in-depth market research, analyzing competitive landscapes, and collaborating with various internal teams to identify growth opportunities. You will work closely with senior management, business unit leaders, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives. This role directly impacts the company's ability to innovate, expand its market presence, and achieve its long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats, informing strategic decision-making and uncovering new business opportunities.
- Perform detailed competitive analysis to benchmark the company's performance against industry leaders, enabling the identification of areas for improvement and differentiation.
- Develop and maintain financial models and budgets to support strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and develop strategic plans, fostering a shared understanding of objectives and facilitating effective execution.
- Support stakeholder management by preparing presentations and reports to communicate strategic recommendations and progress updates, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Contribute to the strategic planning process by identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking progress against strategic goals, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Assist in strategy consulting projects by providing analytical support and contributing to the development of innovative solutions, enhancing the company's competitive advantage.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities and threats.
- Proven skills in strategic planning and developing actionable recommendations to drive business growth.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop and manage budgets, and create financial models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Adaptable to a dynamic work environment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting.
- 2-3 years of experience of running 'Special projects' in another Corp or a Tier 2 consulting firm.
