Our client is a global top-tier consulting firm supporting strategy and transformation engagements for a manufacturing-focused end client operating across Steel, Cement, Chemicals, and Energy sectors.

The Strategy Consultant role is part of a broader enterprise strategy and transformation initiative, where the consultant will work closely with case teams to deliver high-quality strategic insights, business cases, and transformation support. The consultant will play a critical role in shaping executive decision-making through rigorous analysis, structured problem-solving, and strong client-ready communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the consulting firm case teams on corporate, business unit, and functional strategy engagements

- Conduct market, competitor, and internal performance analyses to develop hypothesis-led insights

- Translate analysis into clear, actionable, client-ready recommendations

- Build executive-ready PowerPoint decks aligned with the consulting firm standards, including steering committee, leadership update, and progress tracking decks

- Develop structured storylines, charts, and exhibits with high standards of slide hygiene and visual clarity

- Support digital strategy and ERP-led transformation initiatives (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle), including business process documentation and PMO support

Your Background:

- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, or transformation roles

- Prior experience supporting top-tier or boutique consulting firms strongly preferred

- Demonstrated exposure to manufacturing-sector clients (Steel, Cement, Chemicals, Energy)

- Advanced PowerPoint skills with strong story-lining and executive communication capabilities

- Solid understanding of strategy frameworks, consulting problem-solving approaches, and business case development

- Experience supporting digital strategy, ERP transformations, and end-to-end business process analysis

- MBA / PGDM or equivalent advanced degree preferred; engineering or manufacturing background is a plus

Other Details:

This is a contractual role with a duration of 5 months. The engagement is case-team driven, with a high-intensity work style and onsite or hybrid presence in Mumbai is required.
