
SA / Mgr - Finance Function Strategy
Role Overview:
As a Strategy Consultant/Manager within our Finance Function Strategy team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of finance organizations. You will collaborate closely with clients, internal consulting teams, and technology partners to design and implement innovative finance solutions. Your daily activities will involve analyzing current state finance operations, developing future state visions, crafting detailed roadmaps for transformation, and guiding clients through the implementation of these strategies. This role directly impacts our clients' ability to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and leverage digital technologies to gain a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's existing finance functions to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and articulate a clear finance function vision and strategy, aligned with the client's overall business objectives, to drive strategic decision-making.
- Design detailed finance transformation roadmaps, outlining key initiatives, timelines, and resource requirements, to guide clients through the implementation process.
- Lead the implementation of digital finance solutions, including automation, analytics, and cloud technologies, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate GBS (Global Business Services) and GCC (Global Capability Center) strategies to optimize finance operations and reduce costs.
- Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives across the finance function to improve profitability and financial performance.
- Manage and deliver finance transformation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the area of finance transformation.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems and develop innovative solutions within the finance domain.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing finance transformation initiatives, including digital transformation and GBS/GCC strategies.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, technologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Adaptable to a hybrid work environment based in Hyderabad.
