Our client, a global consulting firm, is working on a go-to-market (GTM) transformation engagement for a leading chemical player in India. The initiative is focused on strengthening commercial strategy, sharpening GTM effectiveness, and driving sustainable growth across priority markets.
As part of this engagement, the consulting team is supporting the client across strategy formulation, growth marketing, and sales transformation levers. They are looking to onboard a Strategy Consultant with prior GTM experience across industries. The consultant will play a key role in shaping recommendations and supporting on-ground execution, working closely with senior client stakeholders and the consulting firms project leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development and execution of GTM and growth strategies across priority products and markets.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to refine channel strategies, pricing, and coverage models.
- Develop structured problem-solving analyses and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Prepare high-quality client-ready presentations and support senior stakeholders in decision-making.
- Collaborate with the consulting firms leadership to drive workstreams and ensure timely delivery.
Your Background:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in strategy or management consulting.
- Prior experience in go-to-market strategy, growth marketing, or sales transformation across any industry.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with a structured problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and engage with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in chemicals or industrial sectors is a plus, but not mandatory.

Location: Kolkata
Work model: Consulting model (MondayFriday onsite with weekend fly-backs permitted)
