Strategy Consultant - Energy Sector - Global Consulting Firm

Our client, a global consulting firm, is supporting a leading energy company in strengthening its Strategy Office to identify and drive strategic initiatives across the business. The engagement will span multiple functions, including production, cost, HR, finance, logistics, and other key business areas.

As part of the Strategy Office, the consultant will work closely with senior stakeholders to analyse business challenges, develop insights, and support the execution of strategic initiatives. The role offers exposure to high-impact business priorities across the energy value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for improvement across functions such as production, cost, finance, HR, and logistics.

- Structure complex business problems and develop data-driven insights and recommendations.

- Support the Strategy Office in identifying, prioritising, and driving strategic initiatives.

- Work closely with senior business stakeholders to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.

- Track initiatives and support implementation to ensure agreed outcomes are delivered.

Your Background:

- 5+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 1 year in the Hydrocarbons or Chemicals sector.

- Experience in Energy, Strategy, a CEO's Office, or consulting is preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, client management, and communication skills.

- Engineering degree or MBA from a Tier-1 institution.

- Background in Chemical, Petroleum, Geology, or Geophysics would be preferred.

- Ability to work across multiple business functions and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
