Job Description:  The Strategy Consultant - Digital Strategy role is vitally important role in setting the strategic direction for one or more key clients. Reporting directly to the Strategy Director, the Strategy Consultant - Digital Strategy is expected to be fairly autonomous in the work they deliver and their relationships with company's clients.   With 10+ years of Digital and / or marketing experience, the Strategy Consultant - Digital Strategy will have broad and deep experience across a range of strategic disciplines including: business strategy, creative strategy, customer strategy, organizational design, product strategy, marketing, media strategy, research and data.  The Strategy Consultant - Digital Strategy will be responsible for end to end strategic deliverables for one or more clients. This role encompasses the following responsibilities:  - Ownership of business consulting deliverables including: Business case development, Benchmarking analysis, Process Mapping and Requirements collation.   - Ownership of creative, content and communication strategy deliverables including: developing creative briefs and creative propositions, creative briefings and inspiring the creative director and his team, social strategy, media strategy, media ecosystem design, content strategy, editorial and content workflows, content assessment development of content guidelines and content assessment (eg clarity grader).  - Collaboration with Research and Data Specialists in order to provide direction on problems to be solved and expected outcomes, in order to ensure research and data analysis deliverables provide outcomes that support digital strategy development. This includes collaboration around Persona development, web & media analytics insights, primary research activities, social listening, customer segmentation and propensity modelling. The Strategy Consultant - Digital Strategy will ideally (but may not) know how these activities are undertaken, but will indeed know what they expect as an output and how they will use these insights to guide strategic activities and decision making.  - Work closely with other members of the strategy team, coaching and guiding junior team members and direct reports as required.  - Be able to lead collaborative working sessions and facilitate workshops across a wide variety of senior client stakeholders and be able to navigate the internal politics in order to drive excellent outcomes for all parties.   - Support new business activity as required.  - To play a role in recommending developments to our product offering.  - Coach, develop and mentor other agency staff outside of the Strategy team, acting as a source of inspiration, knowledge and guidance.  - Be able to provide strategic direction to large scale creative, user experience and technology teams in order to deliver of world class strategic and creative solutions which drive our clients business objectives.  - Management of client expectations around outputs provided as part of strategic work.   - Draw insight from program results and ensure dialogue with client and internal teams in order to make informed decisions and optimise outcomes.  - Serve as trusted advisor to the client and to regularly update clients on major industry developments (regular thought leadership sessions  - Demonstrate ability to sell all Company services, with a core focus on how Strategy help improve effectiveness and to identify key upselling and cross selling opportunities within existing accounts.  - Understand and adopt new techniques and technologies that are relevant for clients- digital strategies  - Participate in industry events/speaking engagements  - Keep up to date with marketplace and technical developments.   - Share knowledge of online marketing with wider agency and service delivery teams  Desired Skills and Experience  - Pro-active, with a great eye for detail and strong writing and presentation skills.   - Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format to board level  - Good knowledge and understanding of digital strategy and experience of providing strategic direction, which resulted in world class solutions   - The ability to work effectively with individuals from all departments and at all levels of the business - building and maintaining relationships across the company and its partners  - The ability to credibly communicate the importance of Digital Strategy internally and to clients  - Deep expertise and passion for Digital. Up-to-date on latest and future developments.  - Ability to quickly understand the dynamics and key challenges of a client's business and the sector in which it operates.  - Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to work with, inspire and guide creative teams.  Personal Attributes:  Must be able to demonstrate like-minded values:  - Expert  - Provocative  - Collaborative  Qualifications and Experience:   - You will be educated to degree level, demonstrate strong numeracy and data literacy and have a minimum of 10 years of Digital Agency, Marketing or Business Consulting experience and a minimum of 3 years experience in a strategy role   - Proven leadership and communication abilities, gravitas to lead C-level clients  - Expert level knowledge in at least two of the following five disciplines - Social strategy, business strategy, creative strategy, brand strategy, content strategy  - Ability to discuss multiple industry verticals in details (verticals could include: telco, finance, retail, utilities, government, etc)  - Strong written, verbal & presentation skills  - Strong commercial acumen & ability to understand a client's business needs  - Strong organisational skills and ability to manage several simultaneous projects  - A passion for digital marketing
