Our client, a leading global consulting firm is seeking a high-caliber independent consultant to support a critical bank branch transformation project for a prominent financial services client in India. This initiative focuses on branch channel optimization, operations re-design, and Current Account/Savings Account (CASA) build, representing a significant strategic push for the client to enhance efficiency and drive growth.

As a Consultant, you will play a key role in bridging strategy with execution. Working directly with the consulting team and the client, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of new operational models. Your work will have a direct impact on streamlining branch processes, improving operational effectiveness, and contributing to the clients core business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the execution of operational redesign initiatives, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of branch channel optimization and CASA growth

- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders at the branch and regional levels to drive the adoption of new processes and technologies

- Analyze current branch operations to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for efficiency improvements within the OTC framework

- Develop and implement practical solutions, translating high-level strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes

- Support the project team in managing the implementation lifecycle, from pilot programs to full-scale rollout across the network

- Provide regular updates and insights on project progress, risks, and milestones to both the consulting firm and client leadership

Your Background:

- Experience: 2+ years of experience, preferably within a top-tier consulting firm or a financial services institution

- Functional Expertise: Proven track record in operations redesign, process optimization, and strategy implementation. Experience with bank branch operations, OTC processes, or CASA products is a significant advantage

- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Must be capable of driving execution in a dynamic, client-facing environment

- Education: A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred
