Role : Strategy Analyst / Associate Organic & Inorganic Growth
Role Overview :
We are hiring for a Strategy Analyst / Associate role with a high-growth consumer education organization. The role will work closely with the leadership team on organic and inorganic growth initiatives, including market expansion, business planning, competitive intelligence, partnerships, acquisitions, investments, and strategic decision support.
This is a high-visibility role suited for candidates with strong problem-solving ability, financial analysis skills, structured thinking, and exposure to strategy, transactions, consulting, corporate development, investment banking, or founders office projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities across new markets, products, categories, partnerships, and potential acquisitions.
- Conduct market research, industry landscaping, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity sizing.
- Build financial models, business cases, scenario analyses, and investment evaluation frameworks.
- Support acquisition, partnership, and investment evaluation through commercial, financial, and strategic analysis.
- Prepare leadership-ready presentations, investment notes, decision memos, and strategic recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Track market developments, emerging business models, and competitive moves relevant to the organisations growth agenda.
- Support senior leadership on ad hoc strategic projects and high-priority business decisions.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
1 to 4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas :
1. Strategy consulting
2. Investment banking
3. M&A / transaction advisory
4. Corporate strategy
5. Corporate development
6. Founders office/business operations
7. Commercial due diligence
8. Growth strategy/market entry/business planning
- CA, MBA, or engineering background from a strong academic institution preferred.
- CA is not mandatory. Candidates from Tier 1 / Tier 1.5 engineering or MBA institutes with relevant work experience are welcome.
- Strong exposure to financial analysis, business modelling, market research, and strategic problem-solving.
- Ability to structure ambiguous business problems using first-principles thinking.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- High ownership, analytical rigor, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Backgrounds :
- Investment banking or corporate finance experience involving M&A, fundraising, IPO, valuation, investor materials, or transaction execution.
- Strategy consulting experience involving market entry, growth strategy, commercial due diligence, GTM, pricing, or business planning.
- Corporate strategy/founders office experience involving new initiatives, partnerships, expansion, P&L analysis, or business cases.
- Exposure to consumer, education, edtech, healthcare, fintech, D2C, SaaS, or marketplace sectors will be preferred.
