
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to build and scale a high-performance supplier ecosystem for two-wheeler aftermarket spare parts. The role will own strategic sourcing, supplier development, assortment expansion, commercial negotiations, quality, and supply availability.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automotive aftermarket / spare parts sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for 2W aftermarket spare parts.
- Build, evaluate, and scale a reliable supplier/vendor ecosystem across categories.
- Identify new suppliers, OEMs, manufacturers, and alternate sourcing opportunities.
- Drive assortment planning and category expansion based on market demand and business requirements.
- Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, margins, payment terms, MOQ, lead times, and service levels.
- Drive cost optimization and competitive sourcing initiatives.
- Manage supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, availability, and compliance.
- Work closely with Quality teams to ensure supplier and product compliance with defined standards.
- Collaborate with demand planning, inventory, category, and operations teams to ensure product availability.
- Monitor supplier capacity, lead times, fill rates, and inventory risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Own sourcing-related processes, systems, data, and reporting.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, pricing, product availability, and emerging suppliers.
- Build strong long-term relationships with strategic vendors and drive continuous supplier improvement.
- Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, alternate sourcing, and supply-chain optimization.
Required Candidate Profile:
- Experience in strategic sourcing / procurement, preferably within the automotive aftermarket or 2W spare parts industry.
- Strong understanding of aftermarket parts, OEMs, manufacturers, and supplier ecosystems.
- Proven experience in vendor management and commercial negotiations.
- Strong analytical and cost-optimization skills.
- Experience with assortment planning and supplier development.
- Good understanding of quality standards, supply planning, inventory, and demand collaboration.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced e-commerce / marketplace environment.
