Role Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Talent Acquisition Lead to build future-ready engineering and leadership talent aligned with VTs growth across Automotive, IoT, Embedded Systems, AI/ML, Wireless, and Product Engineering domains.

This role goes beyond transactional hiring and focuses on strategic workforce planning, niche talent acquisition, stakeholder partnership, and market intelligence to enable long-term business and innovation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Niche Hiring Leadership

- Lead end-to-end hiring for critical and niche roles across Automotive, Embedded, IoT, AI/ML, Wireless, and Product Engineering domains

- Hire senior and leadership positions including Architects, Principal Engineers, Tech Leads, Engineering Leads, and Domain Experts

- Support innovation, platform, and product-led teams with specialized talent requirements

Stakeholder Partnership

- Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Delivery Heads, Engineering Leaders, and Innovation Teams to understand capability roadmaps and future demand

- Act as a trusted advisor on talent availability, skill evolution, and hiring feasibility

Workforce Planning & Talent Pipelines

- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines ahead of business demand

- Drive succession and capability hiring strategies for critical skill areas

- Enable rapid scale-up for new programs, platforms, and client initiatives

Market Intelligence & Hiring Strategy

- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and compensation benchmarking

- Provide insights on talent trends across OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, Product companies, and GCCs

- Lead open-market and competitor-driven hiring initiatives

Sourcing & Hiring Effectiveness

- Optimize sourcing channels (direct sourcing, referrals, niche platforms, headhunting)

- Improve offer acceptance ratio, joining ratio, and overall candidate experience

- Ensure quality assessment and cultural alignment for senior and niche hires

Required Skills & Experience:

- 6-10 years of experience in strategic, niche, or leadership hiring

- Strong hiring exposure across Automotive, Embedded Systems, IoT, AI/ML, Linux, Wireless, Android domains

- Proven experience hiring from OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, Product companies, and GCC environments

- Excellent stakeholder management, assessment, and negotiation skills

- Ability to operate in fast-growing, innovation-driven environments

Nice to Have:

- Experience in innovation-led or team-based hiring

- Exposure to global delivery or multi-geography hiring

- Experience supporting product engineering or platform-centric organizations
