Strategic Finance Lead (Industrial Conglomerate - CA)
You will be responsible for directing company's financial strategy to drive growth. You will act as a bridge between financial data and business operations. Key tasks include creating complex financial models, managing forecasting, and guiding executive decisions on investments, capital allocation, M&A, long-term financial planning across diverse business units and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling:
- Build detailed models for forecasting, fundraising, and evaluating new business opportunities.
- Build complex financial tools to check the value of new businesses, evaluate mergers, and forecast long-term market trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with company leaders to align financial targets with product, sales, and marketing goals.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor key metrics to track progress and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to make sure divisions hit their profit goals.
Market Analysis:
- Evaluate market trends, competitor actions, and industry data to refine corporate strategy.
Capital Strategy:
- Support fundraising efforts, manage investor relations, and plan long-range capital allocation.
- Decide how to fund expansion projects and divide limited money between different business units to maximize profits.
M&A Support:
- Research, analyze, and help integrate newly purchased companies.
Risk Management:
- Track and fix financial risks related to changing markets and global supply chains.
Compliance and Regulatory Management:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to monitor updates and align with statutory regulations.
- Perform data analysis and loan reconciliation and liaise with financing partners.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and manage high-quality reports and presentations for stakeholders, including investors, regulatory authorities, and leadership.
- Streamline reporting processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
Project Management:
- Drive and manage cross-functional projects within the CFO's office to achieve strategic objectives.
- Monitor and track progress of key initiatives, ensuring timely delivery.
Qualification And Experience:
1. CA with 1-2 years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or venture capital.
2. A deep understanding of manufacturing, supply chains, and large-scale industrial operations.
3. Strong background in financial planning, regulatory compliance, and management reporting.
4. Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial statement analysis, risk assessment and experience with data tools like Power BI or Tableau.
5. Ability to present complex financial data to executives and board members.
