Position: Strategic Business Head (Planning & Analytics)

Qualification Required: B. Tech./B.E.+ MBA (Or Equivalent) from IIM A/B/C or other Tier 1 colleges

Role Purpose:

The Strategic Business Head Planning & Analytics will drive business strategy, P&L performance, financial planning, and business analytics to achieve sustainable growth and profitability. The role involves partnering with CXOs and business leaders to optimize revenue, margins, operational efficiency, and strategic execution.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of post MBA experience and must have prior experience in P&L accountability and business performance.

- Strong experience in strategic business planning, business analytics, and P&L management.

- Exposure to construction/ automobile/ aftermarket industry (will be an added advantage).

- Ability to quickly analyze data and deliver results in tight deadlines.

- Proven understanding of financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability improvement.

- Strong analytical, commercial, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- P&L Accountability: Own and drive overall P&L performance, including revenue growth, profitability, margins, cost optimization, and achievement of financial targets.

- Strategic Business Planning: Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term growth strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.

- Business Performance & Analytics: Analyze financial and operational KPIs, business reports, and performance gaps to drive corrective actions and improve business outcomes.

- Strategic Decision Support: Partner with CXOs and business heads to provide data-driven insights, evaluate business proposals, and support investment and expansion decisions.

- Market Intelligence & Growth: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities across the construction, mining, and heavy equipment sectors.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with vertical heads, regional teams, and the Group Office to align business priorities and drive strategic initiatives.

- Performance Monitoring: Develop management dashboards and review mechanisms to track business targets, profitability, and strategic project outcomes.
