Role Overview:
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of our most strategic clients within the Financial Services sector. Your day-to-day will involve nurturing and expanding relationships, understanding their business challenges, and aligning our solutions to drive their success. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional client satisfaction. This role directly impacts our revenue growth, client retention, and overall market leadership by fostering long-term partnerships and maximizing the value our clients derive from our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned clients, focusing on achieving revenue targets and expanding market share.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels within client organizations.
- Identify and proactively address client needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions and strategic guidance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support for clients.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure alignment with their strategic objectives.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the client and the company.
- Forecast revenue accurately and provide regular updates to management on account performance and pipeline.
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with client relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Skillset:
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrated through a track record of successful account management.
- Deep understanding of the Financial Services industry, including key trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex client needs.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, revenue forecasting, and risk management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- 7-8 years of experience in Enterprise Sales or Strategic Account Management, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
