Strand - Manager - International Sales

Locations : India (Any location is acceptable however, if the candidate is based in Bangalore, they will be required to work from the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additionally, the role requires readiness to travel internationally for at least 10 days each month).


Experience : 4 years in International Sales OR 8 years in Domestic Sales within a diagnostic company, with excellent communication skills.

About the Position:


The Manager - International Sales position will be a key member of our team in expanding our presence and driving sales in international markets. This role will work with various channel partners, clinicians, and other key stakeholders to drive adoption of diagnostics tests and bioinformatics services in select markets.


Key Accountabilities:


- Manage day-to-day engagements with channel partners in various countries


- Close track and account for tests ordered, reports delivered, invoice status, and payment status


- Visit countries assigned to meet and engage with clinicians, channel partners and industry and stakeholders


- Build strong confidence with prescribers and prospects with product knowledge & ongoing pre and post sales support


- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute on marketing plans, including but not limited to webinars and conferences.


- Meet the assigned sales goals month on month & ensure timely collection of receivables - Coordinate with internal collaborating teams such as Customer Support, Logistics, Lab, Marketing, Finance for execution of objectives


- For newer markets, help with identifying, screening, and appointing channel partners


Qualifications & Skills Required:


- Experience in sales preferably but not necessarily in diagnostics/ medical devices/ pharma industry


- 4+ years of experience selling in international markets or 6+ years in domestic market


- Post Graduate degree in science/ pharmacy/ biotechnology preferred but not mandatory


- Proven ability in independently managing sales in specific regions/territories


- Willingness to travel extensively


- Proficiency in spoken & written English language
