About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Associate Director - Insurance Consulting to lead our Insurance Analytics & AI Consulting practice. This is a strategic leadership role requiring a combination of deep insurance domain expertise, advanced analytics knowledge, business consulting capabilities, and proven experience in leading high-performing consulting teams.

The successful candidate will partner with global insurance clients to help them transform their businesses using Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI (GenAI), Machine Learning, and Predictive Analytics. The role requires working closely with C-suite executives to define long-term digital transformation strategies, improve underwriting and claims processes, enhance customer experience, and drive measurable business outcomes.

You will play a critical role in growing the Insurance Consulting practice through business development, solution design, client engagement, and delivery excellence while mentoring multidisciplinary teams of consultants, data scientists, and analytics professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Consulting & Client Advisory:

- Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs, business leaders, and senior stakeholders within global insurance organizations.

- Develop long-term Analytics, AI, and Digital Transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

- Provide strategic recommendations on underwriting modernization, claims optimization, fraud detection, pricing, customer retention, and risk management.

- Present executive-level insights and business cases to senior leadership teams.

2. Insurance Analytics & AI Transformation:

- Lead enterprise-wide AI and Analytics transformation initiatives.

- Drive adoption of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Autonomous Underwriting, Intelligent Claims Processing, and Predictive Risk Assessment.

- Design advanced analytical solutions leveraging Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Graph Analytics.

- Guide implementation of customer personalization and next-generation insurance solutions.

3. Business Development & Practice Growth:

- Own consulting revenue, profitability, and business growth targets.

- Lead RFPs, proposals, solution architecture, and client presentations.

- Identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements.

- Develop strategic partnerships with technology providers and insurance stakeholders.

4. Delivery Leadership:

- Ensure successful delivery of consulting engagements across multiple client accounts.

- Oversee project governance, delivery quality, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

- Ensure projects are delivered within timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Promote innovation and continuous improvement across consulting engagements.

5. Team Leadership & Capability Building:

- Build, mentor, and lead teams of Data Scientists, Analytics Consultants, Business Analysts, and Data Engineers.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance consulting culture.

- Support recruitment, coaching, succession planning, and capability development.

6. Innovation & Thought Leadership:

- Stay current with emerging technologies including GenAI, Responsible AI, Explainable AI, IoT, Telematics, and Connected Insurance.

- Publish industry insights, whitepapers, webinars, and thought leadership content.

- Represent the organization at industry forums and client events.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.

- MBA or Master's degree preferred.

- 10-18 years of experience in Insurance Analytics, Management Consulting, or Strategy Consulting.

- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C), Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Reinsurance.

- Proven experience working with global insurance clients.

- Demonstrated success in managing consulting practices, business development, and large transformation programs.
