Retail Manager
Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.
- Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Implement effective strategies to maximize average bill value, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Coordinate with marketing for local promotional activities and campaigns.
- Track competitor activities and provide inputs for pricing and promotions.
Customer Experience Management:
- Ensure an exceptional and personalized customer experience at all times.
- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Maintain long-term relationships with premium clients, architects, and interior designers.
- Ensure the showroom ambience and visual presentation meet brand and luxury standards.
Team Management:
- Supervise, train, and motivate showroom sales executives and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and skill development sessions.
- Encourage team collaboration, accountability, and a customer-first culture.
Merchandising & Product Display:
- Coordinate with the visual merchandising team.
- Monitor stock movement and ensure best-selling items are always available.
- Plan periodic re-arrangements and new product launches in the showroom.
- Ensure product pricing, tags, and display information are up-to-date and accurate.
Inventory & Operations Management:
- Manage stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams.
- Oversee inward and outward stock movement, billing accuracy, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct regular audits to minimize damages, pilferage, and stock variances.
- Ensure all operational processes (billing, CRM entries, POS usage, etc.) are followed correctly.
Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and performance reports.
- Track and report on conversion ratios, walk-ins, footfalls, and order status.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with HR, Accounts, and Logistics teams for administrative requirements
