Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing performance reports, and supporting the management team in decision-making processes related to equity, grey, and commodity markets.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and sound knowledge of financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform detailed analysis of market data across equity, commodity, and grey market segments.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and financial reports using advanced Excel tools.

- Track market trends, company performance, and sectoral movements to support investment decisions.

- Assist in portfolio tracking, profit-loss analysis, and return optimization.

- Support management in preparing data-driven presentations and dashboards.

- Analyse trading data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.

- Maintain and update internal databases related to trades and investments.

- Collaborate with the operations and research teams to streamline data flow and reporting accuracy.

- Ensure data accuracy and timely submission of analytical reports.

- Provide actionable insights for business improvement and strategic planning.

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).

- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial or market analysis.

- Expertise in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, Power Query, and Data Visualization).

- Strong understanding of Equity, Commodity, and Grey Markets.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
