Description:

The Quality Manager/Sr. Quality Manager will be responsible for driving excellence in clinical quality, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and continuous improvement across the healthcare facility.


This role ensures that all processes adhere to NABH/JCI standards, statutory norms, and internal quality frameworks. The position will lead audits, quality initiatives, training, and corrective action plans to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI standards and other statutory/regulatory requirements.

- Develop, implement, and monitor quality policies, SOPs, and protocols across all departments.

- Lead the preparation, documentation, and execution of internal and external quality audits.

- Conduct gap analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Audits, SOPs & Compliance:

- Ensure that internal audits are conducted at all centres using standard audit checklists.

- Develop, update, and ensure implementation of SOPs for centre operations.

- Conduct periodic facility assessments using quality checklists and assign quality scores to each centre.


- Identify gaps, create action plans, and monitor closure with centre in-charge/team.

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliances including Biomedical Waste (BMW), Blood Bank/Storage License, Fire Safety, and other statutory requirements.

Process Monitoring & Control:

- Monitor centre processes to ensure quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

- Ensure strict adherence to defined workflows and quality parameters across departments.


- Track KPIs and escalate deviations to management as required.

Quality Improvement & Innovation:

- Promote, design, and implement process improvements, innovations, and best practices across medical centres.

- Focus on key improvement goals such as staff productivity and vitality, process efficiency, waste reduction, and safe/reliable applicant care.


- Ensure quality improvement initiatives are data-driven and measurable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with administrative managers, medical staff, centre managers, and quality committees to finalize and achieve project goals.

- Provide consultative support on operational standards, audits, and quality improvement.

Communication & Change Management:

- Effectively communicate audit results, new initiatives, and improvement plans to centre teams, management, and stakeholders.

- Drive awareness and training sessions related to SOPs, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Quality

Management, or equivalent.

- 10-15 years of experience in healthcare quality, medical centre operations, or clinical support functions.

- Experience in audits, facility operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
