Statutory Auditor - Consulting Firm

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Statutory Audit professional to join our high-performing team in Pune or Gurgaon. In this role, you will lead complex audit engagements, ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance for a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients. You will act as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, guiding engagement teams through intricate financial reporting challenges and delivering insights that drive business integrity. By maintaining rigorous standards and fostering transparent communication, you will play a critical role in upholding our firm's reputation for excellence and providing our clients with the assurance they need to make informed strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements for large-scale clients, ensuring all financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Manage and mentor audit teams by providing technical guidance and performance feedback to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of audit reports.

- Collaborate with client management and finance teams to resolve complex accounting issues, thereby facilitating a smooth and efficient audit process.

- Evaluate internal control environments and risk management frameworks to provide value-added recommendations that improve client operational efficiency.

- Oversee the finalization of audit documentation and ensure all work papers meet the firm's quality standards and statutory filing deadlines.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in Statutory Audit, Ind AS, and IFRS, with a proven ability to navigate complex financial reporting landscapes.

- Exhibit strong interpersonal and leadership skills, enabling you to manage client relationships effectively and lead cross-functional teams in a high-pressure environment.

- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, reflecting a solid foundation in accounting principles and professional ethics.

- Communicate complex financial findings with clarity and precision, ensuring stakeholders at all levels understand the implications of audit results.

- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration across both office-based and remote settings.

- Leverage 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in audit to drive process improvements and maintain high standards of professional skepticism.
