Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute comprehensive statutory audits for a diverse portfolio of global clients, ensuring strict adherence to international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and relevant local regulatory frameworks.
- Critically analyze financial statements, internal control systems, and accounting records to identify potential risks, material misstatements, and areas for process enhancement.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and clients, effectively communicating complex financial observations and compliance status.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including tax, advisory, and legal experts, to deliver integrated solutions and provide holistic client service.
- Proactively monitor and interpret evolving global and local regulatory landscapes, ensuring audit methodologies and client advice remain current, compliant, and best-in-class.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in statutory audit principles, international accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP), Indian GAAP, and the Companies Act, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with global clients, internal teams, and senior stakeholders, articulating complex financial concepts with clarity and precision.
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential, reflecting a robust foundation in accounting and auditing practices.
- Adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with global teams across different time zones to meet stringent deadlines.
