Job Description: Statutory Auditor Experience: 4+ Years Location: India Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Statutory Auditor with over 4 years of experience in the Indian practice. The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of statutory audits, compliance, and financial reporting. The Statutory Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insights to improve financial processes. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct statutory audits in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant regulations. - Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS). - Identify and assess areas of significant business risk and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. - Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and clients. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and documentation for audits. - Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and strategies. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in auditing. - Liaise with clients to address queries and provide guidance on financial reporting and compliance issues. - Provide support in the preparation and review of tax audits, limited reviews, and group reporting. Requirements:. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). Minimum of 4 years of experience in statutory audit within an Indian practice. Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Familiarity with the Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members. Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
