
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and execution of statutory audits for various clients
- Verify financial statements, books of accounts, and supporting documents
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Accounting Standards (AS/Ind AS), and Auditing Standards
- Perform audit procedures including vouching, verification, and reconciliation
- Identify audit observations, discrepancies, and control gaps
- Prepare audit working papers and documentation
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required information and clarifications
- Support senior auditors in audit reporting and finalization
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing standards, and statutory compliance
- Good understanding of the Companies Act and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and in a team environment
Qualification - CA Mandatory
Preferred:
Articleship experience in statutory audit
Exposure to audit of corporate entities
