Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-caliber Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Statutory Audit practice in Mumbai. In this role, you will lead complex audit engagements, ensuring the integrity of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of high-growth clients. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional finance teams to navigate intricate regulatory landscapes, providing critical insights that drive transparency and informed decision-making. By maintaining rigorous audit standards, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our firm's reputation for excellence and ensuring our clients remain compliant in an evolving global financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute end-to-end statutory audits for large-scale corporate clients to ensure strict adherence to regulatory frameworks and internal policies.

- Lead audit fieldwork and manage engagement teams to deliver high-quality financial reporting within stipulated timelines.

- Analyze complex financial data and accounting treatments to identify potential risks and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with client management and finance controllers to resolve audit findings and streamline financial reporting processes.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across all audit deliverables.

Required Skillset:

- Possess a strong technical foundation in Statutory Audit, with a proven ability to interpret and apply IFRS and GAAP standards to complex business scenarios.

- Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail in financial reporting and documentation.

- Exhibit professional communication abilities, capable of articulating technical audit findings to senior management and external stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

- Maintain a collaborative mindset, fostering effective working relationships within diverse teams and across client organizations.

- Hold a valid Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from the ICAI.

- Adapt seamlessly to a professional on-site work environment in Mumbai, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

- Bring 2 - 7 years of relevant experience in statutory audit within a reputable firm or corporate environment.
