Statutory Audit & Assurance Professional - NBFC - CA

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our Audit & Assurance practice. The role involves leading Statutory Audits, with specific exposure to NBFC audits and strong GST knowledge. The position requires end-to-end audit execution, client coordination, team management, and compliance with statutory and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities - Statutory Audit & Assurance

- Lead and manage Statutory Audit assignments from planning to finalisation.

- Prepare audit plans, execute audit procedures, and ensure timely completion.

- Review audit working papers, financial statements, and audit reports.

- Ensure compliance with Standards on Auditing and documentation requirements.

NBFC & Regulatory Audits

- Handle audits of NBFCs with strong understanding of RBI Directions and SEBI Regulations.

- Working knowledge of Schedule III, CARO 2020, IFC, and Companies Act, 2013.

- Evaluate internal controls, risk management systems, and compliance frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with Ind AS and IGAAP.

GST & Tax Knowledge

- Good practical knowledge of GST including return reviews and reconciliations.

- Understanding of GST compliance, documentation, and audit implications.

- Identification of GST-related risks during audits and recommendations.

Client & Team Management

- Act as primary point of contact for clients on assigned engagements.

- Discuss audit observations with management and ensure closure of audit points.

- Supervise and mentor audit teams ensuring timely delivery and quality output.

Qualifications & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.

- 6-10 years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit.

- Preference from similar CA firm background

- Strong working knowledge of GST.
