Required: Understanding of Ice Cream, Frozen Foods, or FMCG Industry.

We are looking for a dynamic State Head - Sales to drive business growth, market expansion, and brand presence. This role involves sales strategy execution, distributor management, channel expansion, and people leadership to achieve volume, value, and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Revenue Growth:


- Own and deliver state-level sales, volume, value, and market share targets


- Develop and execute state business plans aligned with regional strategy


- Drive seasonal and annual sales plans

Channel & Market Development:


- Strengthen presence across General Trade, Modern Trade, HoReCa, Institutions, and other channels

- Expand distribution footprint, improve outlet coverage, and enhance visibility

- Lead freezer placement strategy, asset utilization, and promotion execution

Distributor & Partner Management:

- Appoint, manage, and review distributors for performance, capability, and compliance

- Drive distributor sales planning and execution discipline

- Resolve distributor issues related to credit, logistics, and service levels

Team Leadership & Capability Building:

- Lead, coach, and develop ASMs and Sales Executives

- Set KPIs, conduct reviews, and ensure performance management

- Drive training on products, selling skills, and execution excellence

Execution Excellence & Compliance:


- Ensure in-market execution including availability, visibility, pricing, and hygiene standards


- Track competition and recommend counter-strategies


- Maintain adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and ethical standards

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong FMCG / Ice Cream / Frozen Foods business understanding

- Leadership and people management experience

- Distributor and channel management expertise

- Strategic thinking with strong execution orientation

- Analytical ability and comfort with MIS & numbers

- Negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Willingness to travel extensively within the state
