Job Overview


We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven State Head Sales to lead our sales operations across the assigned state. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in the Electricals domain, proven ability in team management, and expertise in driving revenue growth through market development, product launches, and effective credit control.

Key Responsibilities


- Achieve state-level sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth.

- Drive performance through effective sales planning, forecasting, and execution.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the state sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.

- Foster a high-performance culture through regular reviews, training, and guidance.

- Conduct regular market visits to strengthen distributor, dealer, and retailer networks.

- Identify and activate new markets to expand business reach.

- Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights for strategic decisionmaking.

- Strategize and execute successful launches of new products across the state.

- Drive product visibility and adoption through channel partners and field activities.

- Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies.

- Monitor outstanding payments and maintain strong financial discipline within the channel.

- Provide regular MIS reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.

- Collaborate with senior management to align state-level strategies with company objectives.

Key Requirements:


- Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience in the Electricals industry (preferred in switches, wires, and home appliances).

- Education: Graduate / MBA (preferred in Sales & Marketing or related field).

- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Proven experience in handling large teams and dealer/distributor networks.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.


- Willingness to travel extensively across the state for market visits.
