Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven State Head to lead and drive our Near Prime Home Loan business across the entire state. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep market understanding, and a proven track record in retail lending, especially in the affordable/near-prime housing finance segment. This role requires managing a large team, driving strategic growth, ensuring portfolio quality, and building strong relationships with channel partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- P&L Ownership: Drive the overall business performance of the Near Prime Home Loan vertical

in the assigned state.

- Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Cluster Heads, Area Sales Managers, and Relationship Managers.

- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute state-specific strategies to drive growth, market penetration, and business sustainability.


- Channel Management: Build and nurture a strong distribution network including DSAs, connectors, and direct sourcing channels.

- Portfolio Quality: Ensure robust credit practices and coordinate with credit teams to maintain a healthy portfolio and control NPAs.

- Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, customer trends, and regulatory developments to identify business opportunities.

- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with credit, operations, risk, legal, and compliance teams to ensure seamless processing and disbursals.

- Customer Centricity: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely service, issue

resolution, and transparent communication.

- Compliance: Adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- 10-15 years of experience in Retail Lending, preferably in Home Loans, Affordable Housing, or Near Prime segments.

- Minimum 7-8 years in a senior leadership/regional role with team and state-level responsibilities.

Education:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.

Skills Required:

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities

- Proven experience in channel management and business development

- Excellent understanding of credit, compliance, and risk principles in housing finance

- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability

- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
