Role Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Startup Portfolio Manager to identify, onboard, and support high-potential early-stage startups. You will work closely with incubators, accelerators, angel networks, and investors to build a strong pipeline and provide startups with mentorship, market access, and funding support.

Key Responsibilities

Startup Sourcing & Engagement:

- Partner with incubators, accelerators, angel groups, and early-stage VCs to identify startups.

- Manage selection and onboarding of startups into our programs.

- Organize pitch events, meetups, and demo days.

Program Implementation & Support:

- Design tailored growth journeys for startups, including mentorship and funding access.

- Conduct assessments to evaluate product-market fit, investor readiness, and growth potential.

- Coordinate with mentors, corporate partners, and experts to help startups overcome challenges.

Investor & Market Access:

- Coach startups on pitch decks, business models, financial projections, and due diligence.

- Organize mock pitch sessions and facilitate investor connects.

- Support startups in securing pilots, proofs-of-concept, and commercial partnerships.

Metrics & Reporting:

- Track pipeline, funding progress, growth metrics, and milestone achievements.

- Analyze regional ecosystem trends to inform strategy.

- Support impact reporting, dashboard creation, and case study development.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 4-7 years of experience in startup ecosystems (accelerators, incubators, VC, or startup consulting).

- Strong understanding of startup lifecycle, funding stages, and investor expectations.

- Proven experience in cohort curation, founder engagement, and program execution.

- Excellent stakeholder management, operational capability, and data-driven reporting.

- Key skills: portfolio management, investment support, operations, stakeholder engagement, reporting and analytics.
