Context :  Product team lead for the Revenue & Product Management for a key portfolio of channels catering to the specific cluster of channels in the Star Network.   Key Responsibilities :  Revenue And Yield Delivery :  - Delivering revenue targets by category of accounts across a channel or portfolio of channels  - Meeting yield objectives of annual plan  Business Planning :   - Building bottom up revenue plans for the fiscal, quarter & month  - Developing pricing & packaging for customer segments across channels  - Scoping market opportunity at a client level & reviewing sales funnel  - Supporting operational tasks on rate cards, internal deal approvals, client sales proposals etc.  Product Understanding :   - Developing insights into the genre & channel deliveries to develop customized pitches for clients   - Creating & implementing trade marketing agenda for the channel - Mailers, On Air promos, Trade events etc.  - Liaising with Channel GMs to understand product changes planned, new monetization opportunities etc.  Strategic Forecasting :   - Creating revenue business plan across portfolio of channels  - Tracking performance vs. annual plan, revising forecasts etc.  Team Management :   - Building bench strength in team by providing coaching and shaping next in line  - Establishing clear deliverables and work plans for rest of team   Performance Measures :   - Revenue performance vs. plan  - Yield achievement vs. plan  Qualification :  Minimum Qualification : MBA (Premier or Tier 1 management institute)  With at least 10-14 years of post-qualification experience  Knowledge And Skills :   - Strong quantitative and analytical ability  - Knowledge of TAM, Media express, BI/BO tools desirable  Personal Attributes :   - Excellent quantitative aptitude  - Strong Interpersonal skills with an assertive personality  - Clarity of thought & ability to think things through  - Excellent communication and presentation skills  - Ability to manage relations with multiple clients and motivate/ create a high performance team
