FP&A role - Premium (Hotstar) CONTEXT : To drive financial planning and reporting processes across the organization. Drive and enable financial thinking, choices and investments. Drive and standardize right operating KPIs/drivers which will influence decision making. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Develop Marketing plans along with various Business and product teams, with rigor on approach. Accurate plan with consistent and adequate how lists. - Do scenario analysis and develop business case on business initiatives and hold business teams to account on agreed metrics. Conduct post-launch analysis on business initiatives and share learnings. - Should take revenue ownership and have experience in partnership deals - Has experience in CPS modelling, Original & English Content acquisition modelling, Viewership insights. - Handle adhoc request and problem solving with a short turnaround time and supplement such request with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making - Review the plans vs actuals on regular basis; in depth analysis of variance and communicating the same proactively creating right visibility and enabling planning of actionables - Continuous tracking of key financials and business metrics, accurate reporting and circulating the same to relevant stakeholders at requisite time intervals - Act as a running source of truth for numbers - key metrics and performance drivers - Develop deep understanding of business drivers and leverage that to create views for creating actionable plans - Prepare financial information & analysis for business reviews/presentations with key highlights - Identify bottlenecks or processes at odds with business/financial goals and Drive efficiencies - Participate & Drive standardization & automation projects for process efficiency QUALIFICATION : - CA/MBA from a tier 1/tier 2 University or business school with 4-8 years of post-qualification experience KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS : - Experience on the business side, preferably revenue planning/marketing - Direct exposure to Digital Marketing or Brand Communication is a plus - Preferably should have directly managed a team. Strong analytical rigor and problem-solving skills PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES : - Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers - Highly effective in supervising and motivating individuals to their fullest potential. - Ability to meet challenging deadlines, work under pressure and exercise sound judgment - Result-oriented, proactive, takes initiative, self-motivated, team player
