Role Overview:

The Affluent Relationship Manager within the Private Banking division acts as a primary advisor to high-net-worth individuals, managing complex portfolios and delivering bespoke wealth solutions. You will operate at the intersection of client advisory and financial strategy, working closely with investment specialists, product teams, and risk management units to ensure the delivery of a seamless banking experience. This role is pivotal in driving the bank's growth by deepening existing client relationships and acquiring new high-value mandates, ultimately serving as the face opremium wealth offering in Chennai and Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and grow a portfolio of affluent clients by providing tailored investment advice and financial planning to ensure long-term wealth preservation and growth.

- Collaborate with internal product desks and investment specialists to structure complex financial solutions that align with the specific risk appetite and goals of high-net-worth individuals.

- Drive business development initiatives by identifying and onboarding new-to-bank clients, leveraging professional networks and market insights to expand the bank's market share.

- Monitor market trends and economic developments to provide proactive, value-added advisory services that help clients navigate volatile financial environments.

- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance, internal risk policies, and ethical standards to protect both the client's interests and the bank's reputation.

Required Skillset:

- Possess 10 to 27 years of extensive experience in managing high-net-worth client relationships within the private banking or wealth management sector.

- Demonstrate deep functional expertise in asset allocation, portfolio management, and the distribution of complex financial products including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.

- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build long-term trust with sophisticated investors.

- Maintain a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and compliance requirements governing the Indian financial services industry.

- Hold a relevant postgraduate degree or professional certification in finance, such as an MBA or CFA, which supports a high level of technical proficiency.

- Display the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing client-facing responsibilities with internal collaboration across the Chennai and Bangalore hubs.
