The Staff Accountant position will assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for our senior living communities by providing accurate and timely financials to communities and by supporting the operational team with expert customer service. This position must successfully work in a team environment, work across multiple facets of the organization, properly prioritize daily activities, and understand accounting issues in a complex corporate structure. Minimum eligibility requirements - Degree in Accounting or related field - CPA candidate preferred - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel - Must have expert QuickBooks experience, 5+ yrs - Strong organizational skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong problem-solving skills - Team oriented attitude - Must be able to analyze large amounts of data quickly - Ability to comfortably work in an intensely deadline-oriented environment - 7+ yrs accounting experience - Accounting work knowledge with US clients 3+ yrs is a major plus. Essential Functions - Daily bank reconciliations - Monthly expense accruals - Create monthly financials - Maintenance of audit folders - Monthly GL account reconciliations - Analyze financial statement - Communicate with operational team at Communities - Review work of peers - Present financial reports to management - Profit/Loss report based on client - Monthly and Annual Projections - AR Collection Work hours will be : 3pm to 11pm India time.
