Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Investment Operations Manager to oversee trade support, cash and position reconciliations, settlement operations, and investment operations activities across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in capital markets operations, reconciliation processes, trade lifecycle management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and transactions across multiple asset classes.

- Reconcile and support securities including:

1. Equities

2. Corporate Bonds

3. Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS)

4. OTC & Listed Derivatives

5. Repos

6. Bank Loans

7. Private Securities

- Analyze reconciliation breaks and coordinate resolution with clients, prime brokers, counterparties, custodians, and internal teams.

- Upload trades into trade capture systems through manual entry or automated file processing.

- Perform trade confirmation with counterparties and ensure timely trade validation.

- Monitor trade settlements and investigate failed trades.

- Track and process corporate actions.

- Ensure timely and accurate execution of post-trade operations and settlement activities.

- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and meet project timelines.

Leadership Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of operations professionals or first-level managers.

- Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance management to team members.

- Make operational decisions within established company policies to achieve business objectives.

- Establish operational procedures and recommend process and policy improvements.

- Ensure departmental goals, service levels, and operational excellence are consistently achieved.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 48+ years of experience in Investment Operations, Trade Operations, or Capital Markets Operations.

- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, reconciliation, settlement, and corporate actions.

- Experience working with multiple asset classes, including:

1. Equities

2. Fixed Income

3. Derivatives

4. Repos

5. Bank Loans

6. Private Securities

- Hands-on experience with trade capture systems and reconciliation tools.

- Knowledge of cash and position reconciliation processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or High School diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.

- Experience in investment management, asset servicing, hedge fund operations, or financial services.

- Familiarity with trade processing platforms and reconciliation systems.
