Sresta Natural Bioproducts - Senior Manager - Plant Operations & Supply Chain Planning

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead plant operations (production) and supply chain planning for FMCG food products. The role primarily focuses on end-to-end plant operations, including production management, PPC, utility management, line efficiency, yield optimization, and cross-functional coordination, with limited emphasis on supply chain planning. Candidates with exposure limited only to beverages or dairy will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Operations:

- Lead plant operations and production, ensuring timely and quality delivery of customer orders.

- Develop, monitor, and execute production plans aligned with demand forecasts.

- Optimize line efficiency, yield, and shift planning across multiple units.

- Oversee PPC (Production Planning & Coordination), plant utilities, maintenance, and housekeeping.

- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks in line with company and regulatory standards.

- Build, mentor, and manage large teams, focusing on capacity building and performance management.

- Independently manage multiple plants and coordinate operations across Manufacturing, Processing,

Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, Procurement, and Warehousing.

- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure operational continuity.

- Travel across plant locations as required.

Supply Chain & Planning:

- Manage demand planning, inventory management, operations planning, and PPC coordination.

- Oversee warehouse and CFA operations, including 3PL coordination and timely dispatches.

- Monitor supply chain KPIs, implement process improvements, and drive cost optimization.

- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams for smooth material flow.

Requirements:

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech (any specialization).

- Experience: 10-15 years in plant operations (production) within FMCG food manufacturing, handling multiple SKUs and plants.

- Strong knowledge of plant operations, PPC, production scheduling, line efficiency, utility management, and ERP systems.

- Hands-on experience in inventory management, warehouse coordination, CFA operations, and logistics planning.

- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration.

- Proven leadership in managing large teams across multiple plants.

Languages: Telugu; proficiency in English and Hindi is essential.
