Amazon, Sr Marketing Manager  Job Description-:  Amazon is looking for a customer focused, creative, and data driven marketing manager to grow Junglee.com's seller base for - Local Product Ads- service (LPADs). The LPADs feature on Junglee.com provides a platform for individuals or unorganized local sellers (with no online presence) to advertise and sell their products (both new and used) online.   The marketing manager will be responsible for planning and executing the marketing strategy to grow awareness and adoption of Local Product Ads feature as a platform of choice for defined seller segments.   A strong understanding of principles of marketing communication, segmentation, targeting and positioning are required to succeed in this role. The ideal candidate will be adept at driving targeted customer acquisition programs based on an indepth understanding of various customer segments. He/she must have had past hands-on experience in brand management, BTL marketing, retails marketing and event management. Exposure to PR & various digital marketing channels - associates, social media, SEM etc would be a plus.   This is an individual contributor role within Junglee for driving marketing initiatives across online and offline channels for the defined target segments of Local Product Ads service.   Key Responsibilities  1) Planning and executing the marketing calendar for LPADs in close collaboration with product managers / site merchandizing team / IMC calendar etc and driving customer acquisition through various channels, both online & offline (non-mass media).  2) Identify and execute innovative micro marketing activities that reach the target audience.  3) Driving BTL marketing programs in coordination with external stakeholders like creative agencies, event management agencies etc for executing outreach & awareness initiatives.   4) Defining and executing sharply targeted digital marketing initiatives across channels like associates, social media, affiliates, search engine marketing, email, onsite merchandizing etc, in collaboration with various digital marketing channel managers.   5) Work closely with the internal PR team to create talking points for local product ads, new features and services launched.   6) Evaluate and improve performance efficiency of all customer acquisition initiatives.   7) Coordinate with designers and external agencies for creative development and content creation for both online and offline marketing channels.  8) Deep dive into consumer behavior through direct consumer interactions and participation in formal research. Generate insights for developing effective communication and targeted promotional activities.   9) Work closely with multiple internal teams like category managers, product managers, site merchandising, and public relations team for ensuring that the marketing initiatives are aligned with overall organization goals and in compliance with the law of the land.   Basic Qualifications   - 6+ years of experience working in brand management, retail marketing, brand planning or similar function.  - Hands on experience in driving PAN India BTL marketing initiatives and consumer engagement activities.  - Experience in driving consumer insights studies.  - Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results   - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills   - Demonstrated ability to lead projects with cross-functional teams   - Ability to execute under tight timelines with quick turnaround times.  Preferred Qualifications   - Exposure to segmentation, targeting, positioning and value proposition development.  - Prior exposure to digital marketing would be an advantage.  - Prior exposure to PR would also be an advantage  - Tier 1/2 MBA Mandatory.
